The Half Declared War

July 16th, 2015, Mohammed Youssef Abdulazesz, shot up two military facilities in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His second target was a recruiting center where he murdered four of our nation's best. Later, Abdulazeez was shot dead by police.
Obama's remarks after this tragedy, alluded to this being a "lone wolf" attack. Once again, he failed - abysmally - to understand the nature of this undeclared war we find ourselves in.
This is a war that was declared on us by a large portion of the Muslim world. The first shots of this war were fired in New York - on September 11th, 2001.
Obama has an acute case of denial regarding the defining characteristic of the enemy facing us. He can't even say "Islam" or "Muslim" without adding a positive spin on it. Can you imagine if FDR tried to put a positive spin on the Nazis! "Nazism is a religion of peace". I don't think that would have worked out well for him politically.
We have to deal with facts. ISIS, al-Qaida, the Iranian regime, the Taliban, all have a common denominator: Islam. Of course not all Muslims are evil terrorists, but, 99% of evil terrorists are Muslim. Wake up Barack!
Militant Islam is at war with us, even if we don't believe we are at war with them. You cannot defeat an enemy if you don't understand their motivations. This is a fight to the death. First, we must admit allot of Muslims hate us. For Islam to change, it must change from within Islam itself.
In the meantime, we need to defend ourselves and wipe out their - current - favorite team: ISIS. The longer this group exists and controls territory, the more they will become a standard our enemies will rally around.
Obama needs to quit thinking other countries are going to solve our problems for us. The U.S. military must wipe ISIS off the map. Not to help Syria or Iraq, but to protect and defend America. Otherwise, we can expect many more "lone wolf" attacks like Chattanooga.
