I Am Fed Up With the “Religion of Peace” Fairytale

Ever since 9/11, the American people have been subjected to a long standing lie: “Islam is a religion of peace.” Despite the fact that every significant terrorist act in the world is perpetrated by Muslims. Despite the fact that Muslims refugees by-in-large, refuse to assimilate into the countries they immigrate to, in fact they try, aggressively, to impose their Islamic “values” onto the indigenous population. Finally, despite the fact that nearly all Islamic Leaders either refuse to denounce Islamic based violence, or they actively support terrorism. Even in the face of all these facts, Western leaders still maintain their fictional mantra.

I have a unique view of Islam. I lived in the Middle East for 3 years. I also fought against Islamic Terrorists in Iraq. I have been to a few of Islam’s holy places, I have had Muslim friends, whom I liked a great deal. However, I never believed Islam was a benevolent, peaceful religion. I could share numerous experiences I have had in the Middle East that led me to this conclusion. Here is one:

While stationed in Iraq, we were organizing a convoy to a forward operating base. Right out of the gate, we would line up and test fire our weapons. Previously, I had noticed a little Iraqi girl wondering around our vehicles while we were firing our weapons. We shooed her away. I was worried she would get run over by us when we left or be hurt by a stray bullet. On this day the little girl was there again, along with her father. I got out of my vehicle and signaled for our Iraqi translator to come with me. I walked up to the father and told our translator to tell him to get his daughter out of here, or she could get hurt. “It’s dangerous here”, I said. The father replied back to our translator, “If she gets hurt it is God’s will.” I had daughters around her age, so I became very upset. Through the translator I told him, “I am not asking you, I am telling you to take your daughter out of here NOW!” He gave me a long hate filled stare, before finally complying with my instructions.

This minor event taught me an awful lot about Islam. I would rather die, than have my daughters run around near foreign soldiers firing their weapons. This guy’s philosophy was, “oh well, if she dies that means Allah wants it”! This is the basis for Islamic insanity. Any horrible form of violence is justified because if Allah didn’t want it, he would stop it. There is no such thing as free will in the Islamic world-apparently. The end-truly-justifies the means to most Muslims.

“Well, Christianity and Judaism have violent pasts too”, is the inevitable Islamic apologists reply to any criticism of Islam. It is true, these religions have violent pasts also. The difference is they progressed to be non-violent, Islam has not. If anything, its violent tendencies have increased. Where Islam goes, so goes murder, intolerance and destruction of civilization. Do you think this is just a coincidence? Clearly it is not. Islam is not compatible with western values. And any attempt to disprove this fact inevitably will lead to disaster. Certain parts of Paris are uncontrollable due to Islamic fanatics setting up shop there, imposing Sharia law etc. This will be America’s lot also, if we take in thousands of Muslim refugees from Syria.

Now I am not suggesting Muslims should be persecuted or targeted for pogroms or anything similar to that. However, I am suggesting we Americans recognize the reality of the situation. Islam is not equal to the other major religions of the world. It breeds intolerance, hate and violence everywhere it goes. We cannot expose our country or our children to this. Until, all Islamic leaders denounce violence, also, they must agree to follow American Law not barbaric Sharia law. These are just the minimum requirements and they will not be accepted by the Islamic world. Thus, they are incompatible with our country. Islamic refugees or immigrants must not be allowed into our country. Can you imagine in World War two what would have happened if we let Nazis into our nation and bowed down to them as a persecuted minority group! Nazism was also seen as a religion to many-and like Islam it was intertwined with violence and intolerance. At that time the American people would have never stood for this type of national suicide. Now-unfortunately-America seems much more accepting of self-immolation.

I did not fight for my country just to give it to the same people I was fighting! I have seen the effect on civilization Islam has and it is horrible. Unless we want public executions, our wife’s and daughter’s forced to wear veils we had better wake the hell up! We all must inform our representatives that we will not accept thousands of potential Islamic terrorists into our nation! We do not need anymore 9/11s. Just because our President has some weird love affair with Islam, doesn’t mean we the people need to suffer for their stupidity.
